Practice Makes Perfect
Why is practice so important?

Kumon’s math study provides a thorough understanding of the basics. Students advance only when the work they are currently completing is truly mastered. Allowing students to advance before they are fully equipped to do so will only frustrate them and eventually cause them to give up.

Repeating worksheets until the point of mastery (precision and time) will not only ensure that students internalize the work, it will better equip them for the work they will encounter in the next stage.

Practice makes perfect, in music or in math. Instructors, parents and students must realize this from the beginning. It is not only the key to mastering mathematics but the cornerstone of the Kumon Method as well.
